About Ko Chang

Koh Chang is the heart of an archipelago located in the Gulf of Thailand, near Cambodia. Koh Chang is a tropical abode. Being a national park, The nature on the island is well protected. The island is mountainous and wooded, with the highest point the 744 meter high mountain Jom Prasat. 

The island is mostly built along the sandy beaches (the west coast is the closest cultivated), the rest of the island is mountainous and lies in a green rainforest, one of the oldest in Thailand. Koh Chang offers something for everyone, on the island you can go hiking and climbing along waterfalls. You can also make boat and dive trips and enjoy the sea breaches on one of the sandy beaches. 

Beaches are from the north to the south of Koh Chang, Hat Sai Khao (White Sand Beach), Klong Prao, Kai Bae, Hat Ta Nam (Lonely Beach) and the more secluded beaches past Bang Bao. White Sand Beach is the main beach with most facilities. On these beaches you will find many accommodation and dining. At most beaches you can all ready stay over night in a simple hut and this for around 200 baht, but of course you can also stay in a comfortable resort for a few thousand baht per night. 

In the south of Koh Chang is Koh Cunt. Here are beautiful deserted white sand beaches to find. Experience the ultimate way, stay in simple huts, peace to escape the hustle and bustle. The island of Koh Cunt is approximately 20 minutes away by boat from Koh Chang.
